Flu & Shingles Vaccines

From 1st April 2018 the Ministry of Health is funding FREE Shingles vaccinations for all aged 65-80 years.

Vaccines are now in stock at Amuri Health.
Please phone the Amuri Community Health Centre to arrange an appointment or to discuss any questions or concerns you may have regarding the vaccine.

Flu vaccines are also available now at the Amuri Community Health Centre.
Flu Vaccines are free for all pregnant women, those with a chronic health condition, over 65yrs and under 18yrs
If you are not sure if you are eligible for a free flu vaccine, please give our nurses a call to discuss or phone reception to arrange an appointment.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
