Bone Density Scanning Clinic

Are Your Bones Aging Faster Than You Are?

Osteohealth NZ are coming to the Amuri Community Health Centre. There are still some available appointment times.

Friday 1st June 2018 at 10.00am-3.00pm

To provide the opportunity for you to have a bone scan that will determine your bone density and give a prediction of fracture risk due to Osteoporosis.

Each scan costs $60.00 and includes a results leaflet and information on how to maintain or improve your bone health – and prevent Osteoporosis. Payment can be made by either cash or debit/credit card.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
