Contractors and Other Visitors

When visitors or contractors are at the practice:

 

  • The practice manager or available staff member must advise them of the emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, location and use of safety equipment, safety rules, no-go areas, and any identified hazard or potential hazard.
  • They must show proof of ID to the practice manager or designated staff on request.
  • They must sign in and out of the visitors' log as they enter and leave the practice premises, in accordance with fire safety standards.
  • They must notify the practice manager or designated staff member immediately if an accident occurs.
  • They must notify the practice manager or designated staff member immediately if they notice a hazard while at the practice.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
