EpiPen – FundaPen
The FundaPen initiative via Allergy New Zealand has made EpiPen’s auto injectors available free to eligible patients.
If you already have a doctor diagnosed allergy and are at risk of Anaphylaxis or think you may be eligible for a funded EpiPen, please contact Amuri Health Centre on 03 315 6328 to discuss with the practice nurse. If you are eligible for a FREE EpiPen the GP will be able to prescribe this for you. Only 1 EpiPen can be prescribed for each eligible patient. Some patients may have already been contacted by the practice nurse to advise their eligibility.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
