Cervical Screening

The National Cervical Screening Programme has changed the Cervical Screening start age from 20 to 25years. Patients will receive recalls as per usual under the new criteria. Amuri Health is continuing to provide free screening for 2019 and into 2020 to our registered & eligible patients. Don’t let cervical cancer stop you, get screened! Get vaccinated! Please phone Amuri Health to arrange an appointment or contact the nursing team if you have any questions or concerns.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
