Farewells and Hellos

As you will probably know we have had a few changes in people involved with Amuri Health Care Ltd over the last few months.
We have fare-welled our longstanding GP Graeme who has provided long and outstanding service.
We welcome Dr Vicky Chaplin as our permanent GP into our team here at Amuri Community Health Care.
It is also with sadness we farewell Rebecca Anderson who has worked as a District Nurse for Amuri Health for some years and will be greatly missed within the team and certainly within the wider community, we hope to see her back on a casual basis sometime in the future but wish her well as she spends some well-deserved time with her family.
We would like to welcome Kelly Dawson to Amuri’s District Nursing team, who will be on board as of January.
We also would like to welcome Jess Gibson a Registered Nurse who will be covering maternity leave.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
