National Immunisation Schedule changes

NEW 12 month vaccination event -

1st Measles, Mumps and Rubella vaccine + last Pneumococcal will now be given at 12 months

 

15mth vaccination event remains and includes 2nd Measles, Mumps & Rubella, ChickenPox and Hiberix.

 

Starting MMR vaccination at 12mths ensures better protection for your child against Measles outbreaks

 

The nursing team will recall all 12-14mth olds for this to ensure they do not miss out.

15mth olds who have already had their 15mth vaccinations will be recalled for their 2nd MMR vaccination to ensure all children are fully vaccinated against Measles as close to 15mths as possible

Children younger than 12mths will be recalled for this as per usual recall process.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.
Use the touch-free hand sanitiser dispenser in the entrance foyer
Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
