Equity - We would like to hear from you!!
We have such a diverse community here in the Amuri… a wide variety of cultures and ethnicities which call the Amuri basin home. We would like to ensure our health services are accessible, available and relative to all our community, without unnecessary barriers.
To ensure our health services are accessible to all, we would love to hear from community members keen to put themselves forward to meet and advocate for their cultural/ethnic community with members of our health care team, forming an Amuri Health Equity Group.
We would like to meet with these community advocates 2-3 times yearly as a group, for relatively informal discussion, with the goal to gain better insight on potential issues in accessing health services and how we can improve these to better community wellbeing.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.
Use the touch-free hand sanitiser dispenser in the entrance foyer
Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
