Maternity Consults

Eligible patients may access funded visits for maternity consultations here at Amuri Health if they need to see the GP during the first trimester for maternity related appointments, this can be alongside the care they receive from their midwife.  Also, some urgent maternity care with the GP is also funded.

Confirmation pregnancy testing is funded if you have seen the GP at the appointment.
 
If your appointment is with the practice nurse only, or the result is negative, the testing will be charged as the funding is only available here when the GP is involved with your maternity care.

Before you visit:


Telephone consultations and face to face consultations are still available
Please phone 03 315 6328 for an appointment.
When phoning for an appointment, please tell the receptionist if you have any respiratory symptoms:
new or worsening cough
sore throat
shortness of breath sneezing and runny nose
loss of sense of smell or altered sense of taste, or a fever
headache
contact with person who may have been exposed to COVID

When you visit:

We politely request you still wear a mask if you display any resipratoy symptoms, this helps to keep the wider community safe.
You may still be asked to be seen via th Ambulance bay if there is any doubt on the type of infection you may have.

Continue to practice social distancing

Covid vaccinations are still available.
Please call the Health centre to arrange a day and time for your vaccine.
